Restylane Lyft® is composed of the largest modified HA particles in the Restylane NASHA line and it is typically used on deeper lines than the original Restylane formula. Restylane Lyft® is a beloved product for both aesthetic clients and practitioners because its gel formula offers amazing flexibility and staying power. Restylane Lyft® used primarily for the mid-face, reducing the appearance of both marionette and laugh lines.
The NASHA Product line was developed employing a minimal amount of change to the natural HA molecular structure, this combined with NASHA’s rigorous testing for impurities allows for better acceptance into the body. Meaning fewer reactions and longer product life as it is not readily recognized as a foreign material. These products are gentle, pliable gels that give longer lasting, more stable results.
Restylane Lyft works in two phases. While some results are visible immediately, the fillers do take some time to reach their full effect. After the injections, the gel adds volume that immediately improves the contour of your hands. This helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines while giving your skin more support that smooths out the texture. The long-term effects of this dermal filler are produced when the hyaluronic acid in the formula reacts naturally with your skin to attract more moisture. This additional moisture boosts the volume and elasticity of your skin. The added support reduces the folds and creases in the skin caused by weakened support structures.

Following a study of 89 patients, Restylane Lyft received FDA approval to treat age-related volume loss in the back of the hands. Hyaluronic acid fillers are the mainstay of facial fillers due to their natural consistency. Fillers are placed just below the skin and above underlying tendons using a microcannula technique to limit pain, bruising, and swelling.
In the study for FDA approval, patients showed volume improvement in the hands for up to six months. Side effects (swelling, tenderness, itching) were predominantly mild and temporary.
